Teaching Assistant - Wilmslow
Location: Wilmslow, Cheshire
Salary: £83.33-£95
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students, both individually and in groups. You will assist with classroom management, ensuring a productive and supportive learning environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young learners and is committed to ensuring every student reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Classroom Instruction: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, catering to the diverse needs of students.
- Individual & Group Support: Provide additional support to students who require extra help, ensuring they achieve their learning targets and academic goals.
- Differentiated Learning: Adapt lesson content and materials to meet individual learning needs, enabling all students to participate fully in the curriculum.
- Behavioural Support: Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment by providing support to students with emotional or behavioural challenges.
- Monitoring Progress: Assist in tracking and assessing the progress of students to ensure that learning objectives are met.
- Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Contribute to the school's safeguarding efforts, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students in your care.

Essential Qualifications:
- A passion for supporting students' personal and academic development.
- A clear DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
Desirable:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
