Teaching Assistant - 1:1 or Intervention Support - Outskirts of Boston - Immediate Start

Location: Primary School on the outskirts of Boston
Start Date: Immediate (with continuation in September)
Contract: Full-time, Ongoing
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: £82 - £90 per day (depending on experience)

Simply Education is currently recruiting for a committed and flexible Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school on the outskirts of Boston. This full-time role is available for an immediate start, with the opportunity to continue into the new academic year in September. The successful candidate will work either 1:1 with a pupil or with small intervention groups, depending on the school's needs.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 support or small group interventions across the primary age range

  • Assist pupils with their academic and emotional development

  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement support strategies

  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Help pupils build confidence and achieve individual learning targets

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a school setting, supporting learners 1:1 or in groups

  • A patient, encouraging, and adaptable attitude

  • Good understanding of primary education and SEN support

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
