About the Role
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils aged 5-16 with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Build strong, therapeutic relationships based on consistency and trust
Provide 1:1 and small-group support
Use restorative and trauma-informed approaches to behaviour
Support emotional regulation with calm, grounding strategies
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams
Help pupils rebuild confidence, resilience, and belief in themselves
