1:1 Teaching Assistant - Newark-on-Trent

Pay: £82.08 - £96.96 per day (dependant on experience)
Contract: Part-time / Long-term / Day-to-day
Start: ongoing

We are seeking dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools in the Newark-on-Trent area. You will work closely with a child who requires additional support, helping them access learning, build confidence, and engage positively in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day

• Assist with learning tasks, emotional regulation, and behaviour support

• Promote a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupil progress

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs (advantageous)

• Patient, calm, and dependable

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
