The Role:
You'll provide essential care and support to pupils with a range of physical, medical, and learning needs, helping them to participate fully in school life. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you'll ensure that every child feels safe, supported, and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and mobility support to students
- Assist pupils with feeding, hygiene, and medical routines
- Support students in the classroom to access learning and activities
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive relationships
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and caring school environment
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people with additional or complex needs
- A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Health and Social Care Level 2/3) are desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
