Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:40am - 1:00pm (Summer Term)

About the Role

Simply Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Childcare Practitioner to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school setting in March for the summer term.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young children's early development through play-based learning and nurturing care within an Early Years or childcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development through play and structured activities.
• Work with small groups and individuals to encourage engagement and progress.
• Assist in delivering age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
• Support children's social, emotional, and physical development.
• Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
• Assist with daily routines, including snack times and transitions.

About You

• Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool, or school setting.
• Warm, patient, and nurturing approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of EYFS (preferred but not essential).
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
