The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the subject, able to deliver high-quality lessons, and committed to supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach engaging DT lessons across Key Stages KS3 & KS4.

• Deliver and assess lessons in areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Textiles, or Engineering (depending on specialism).

• Plan creative, inclusive, and well-structured learning activities.

• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement.

• Maintain a safe and organised workshop/classroom environment.

• Support extra-curricular opportunities, such as clubs or competitions.

What We're Looking For

• A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) or an ECT with strong subject knowledge.

• A passion for Design Technology and innovation in teaching.

• Ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
