Early Career Teachers (ECTs) - Primary Schools - Coningsby

Role: Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Location: Coningsby and surrounding areas
Start Date: Upon receiving QTS
Contract Type: Day-to-day supply, part-time and long-term placements
Salary: £130 - £168.80 per day (dependent on experience)
Suitable for: ECTs completing or starting induction

Simply Education is seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers to take on teaching roles in our partner schools across the Coningsby area.

We have a strong history of supporting ECTs within local schools, giving new teachers the opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and confidently begin their teaching careers. Many of the ECTs we have placed have gone on to secure long-term or permanent roles through our partner schools.

Whether you're looking to build experience through supply work or secure a longer-term placement to complete your induction, we offer flexible opportunities tailored to your goals.

As an ECT, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

  • Follow school planning or deliver your own lessons where required

  • Assess and support pupil progress

  • Develop your teaching practice with support from experienced staff

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to receive QTS

  • Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Flexible, reliable and proactive approach

  • Commitment to professional development and growth
