Early Career Teachers (ECTs) - Primary Schools - Sleaford

Role: Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Location: Sleaford and surrounding areas
Start Date: Upon receiving QTS
Contract Type: Day-to-day supply, part-time and long-term placements
Salary: £130 - £168.80 per day (dependent on experience)
Suitable for: ECTs completing or starting induction

Simply Education are advertising for enthusiastic Early Career Teachers to take on teaching roles in our partner schools across the Sleaford area.

We have a strong record of supporting ECTs into local schools, providing opportunities to gain valuable classroom experience and confidently begin your teaching career. Many of the teachers we have placed have progressed into long-term and permanent roles through our trusted school partnerships.

Whether you're looking to build experience through flexible supply work or secure a longer-term position to complete your induction, we can offer placements that suit your goals and availability.

As an ECT, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

  • Follow school planning or deliver your own lessons where required

  • Assess and support pupil progress

  • Develop your teaching skills with support from experienced staff and mentors

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to receive QTS

  • Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Flexible, reliable and proactive approach

  • Commitment to professional development
