Maths Teacher - Secondary School (Full-Time)
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our thriving secondary school. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5, if applicable), fostering a love of mathematics and supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about delivering high-quality mathematics education in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
Prepare students for GCSE examinations (and A-Level, if applicable)
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum
Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics
Excellent classroom management skills
High expectations for student achievement and behaviour
Strong communication and teamwork skills
