Job Title: Part‑Time Teacher of Religious Education (RE)
Location: Colchester area
Contract: Part‑Time / Temporary or Fixed Term (e.g. 0.2 FTE to 0.4 FTE - one or two days per week)
Start Date: Immediate Start

The Role:
Teach RE to students in KS3 and KS4 (and optionally KS5 where relevant)
Plan, deliver and assess high‑quality lessons, differentiating to meet the needs of all pupils
Contribute to department curriculum planning and development
Promote positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment
Be involved in pastoral duties / enrichment / cross‑curricular work where needed
Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Degree in Religious Education, Theology or related subject
Experience teaching RE (or readiness to do so - ECTs welcomed)
Clear communication skills, strong classroom management
Committed to inclusive education and supporting students' personal development
