Teacher of Science, Southend, Essex
Highly ranked and prestigious school are looking to hire a teacher of science to join a successful department to teach Key Stages 3 and 4. The Science department currently consists of 4 full-time and 3 part-time teachers.
The successful person will inspire and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential, delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity, build confidence and foster a love of learning. This position is suitable for teachers with experience in either the state or independent sector.

We are looking for someone who:
Is a qualified teacher with QTS and significant experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
Has proven leadership skills with experience in curriculum planning and staff management
Demonstrates strong management and communication skills
Can communicate a clear vision for improving standards within the department
Shows resilience, a strong work ethic, and a belief that these are central to success
