Are you a dynamic and forward-thinking Science teacher ready to make a meaningful impact?
We are looking to appoint an ambitious and dedicated Teacher of Science to join our thriving department in Epping. This role offers the opportunity to teach motivated students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, with the potential to deliver A-Level in your specialist discipline.
Our Science department is collaborative, well-resourced, and committed to achieving excellent outcomes. We are seeking a teacher who combines strong subject expertise with creativity in the classroom and a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young people.
About the Role
You will:
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3
Teach your specialist subject at KS4 and potentially KS5
Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE and (where applicable) A-Level examinations
Differentiate effectively to challenge high-attaining students and support those who need additional guidance
Use assessment strategically to inform teaching and accelerate progress
Contribute to curriculum innovation and departmental development
Uphold the highest standards of health and safety within laboratory settings
Take an active role in enrichment activities and wider school life
About You
We are seeking someone who:
Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
Has strong subject knowledge in a Science discipline
Demonstrates high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
Builds positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues
Is reflective, proactive, and committed to continuous professional growth
Brings energy, integrity, and a passion for Science education
Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers who demonstrate strong potential and subject expertise.
