Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for your next rewarding opportunity? We are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic SEN school in Cambridgeshire.

📍 Location: Cambridgeshire
📅 Position: Long-Term (with potential for permanent placement)
📚 Role Type: Full-Time and Part-time available

About the Role:

In this vital role, you will play a key part in the education and development of children with a range of special educational needs. You will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons, supporting individual learning needs, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

You will work closely with other professionals and parents to ensure each pupil reaches their full potential, making a real difference every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualised teaching to students with a range of SEN needs

  • Develop and adapt resources to support differentiated learning

  • Implement and monitor individual education plans (IEPs)

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies

  • Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment

  • Uphold safeguarding practices in line with school policy and statutory guidance

Requirements:

  • Strong background in supporting children with special educational needs

  • Proven experience in a similar SEN teaching role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour positively and professionally

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
