This role is perfect for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and making a meaningful impact on pupils' learning and development.

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a vital role in preparing pupils for the transition into upper Key Stage 2, helping to build confidence, independence, and a strong foundation for future success.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum. You will create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity and a love of learning, while ensuring that all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to a range of abilities
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data to inform teaching
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to support pupil development
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Maintain a positive, safe, and well-managed classroom environment
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership teams
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching in UK primary schools (essential)
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
- A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (essential)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to teaching
