About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Science Department. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with the possibility of A-Level teaching for suitable applicants), fostering a love of science and helping students achieve their full potential.

You will deliver high-quality lessons in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics, contribute to curriculum planning, and play an active role in the wider life of the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated science lessons.

• Assess, record, and report on student progress in line with school policies.

• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking.

• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

• Participate in school events, enrichment activities, and staff development opportunities.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Degree in a science-related subject.

• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for science education.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Desirable:

• Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level Science.

• Ability to teach across more than one science discipline.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
