About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our secondary school team from September 2026. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), fostering curiosity, critical thinking and a passion for scientific discovery.
Key Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Science.
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics with the ability to teach across the sciences.
A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
Incorporate practical experiments, demonstrations and digital tools to enhance student learning.
Track and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment.
Ensure safe and effective use of equipment and uphold all health & safety procedures within the laboratory.
