Location: Witham, Essex
Contract: Full-time (Permanent or Long-Term)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

The Opportunity

Secondary schools in the Witham area are seeking dedicated and passionate Science Teachers to join their teams on a full-time basis. These roles offer the opportunity to work in supportive environments where high standards of teaching and learning are valued.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 in some settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum

• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students

• Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively

• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership teams

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Degree in a Science-related subject

• Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
